The Need

  • 1 in 7 Ontario households face food insecurity.
  • Shelters and food banks in GTA report record demand.
  • Current food systems can’t process rescued vegetables at scale.

Our Solution

  • “One Table Kitchen” – Toronto
  • Establish a 5,000–8,000 sq ft charitable kitchen.
  • Process 5–10 tonnes of vegetables weekly into prepared meals.
  • Community volunteer shifts: inclusive, interfaith service teams
  • Food recovery: rescue surplus produce from farms and grocers
  • Outreach partnerships: food banks, shelters, seniors’ centers, student food programs

Impact (First Year 1 Goals)

  • Meals Distributed: 350,000–400,000
  • Vegetables Rescued & Processed: 180+ tonnes
  • Families & Homeless Reached: 10,000+ unique individuals
  • Volunteer Hours: 15,000+
