ABOUT EKNOOR FOUNDATION
Eknoor Foundation is a federally incorporated Canadian not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities across Canada by addressing food insecurity and supporting pathways to long-term stability.
Our work begins with ensuring reliable access to food for individuals and families facing hardship. As our capacity grows, Eknoor Foundation intends to expand programming to include learning opportunities and employment pathways that help people move beyond crisis toward self-sufficiency.
OUR STORY
Eknoor Foundation was established in response to the urgent and growing issue of food insecurity affecting individuals and families across Canada.
Our work is inspired by values of service, equality, and compassion, emphasizing shared responsibility and collective well-being. While these values are faith-inspired, Eknoor Foundation is inclusive and non-religious in its operations, and all programs are delivered without regard to religion, ethnicity, gender, or background.
We focus first on meeting immediate needs through food security initiatives, recognizing that access to food is foundational. As stability is achieved, Eknoor Foundation plans to introduce additional supports related to learning and workforce participation, designed to address root causes and promote long-term independence.

GOVERNANCE & STATUS
Eknoor Foundation is a federally incorporated Canadian not-for-profit organization.
Charitable registration with the Canada Revenue Agency has not yet been granted. Until such time:
Donations are used exclusively to advance Eknoor Foundation’s not-for-profit purposes
Charitable tax receipts are not issued
Eknoor Foundation is committed to transparency and is building governance and accountability systems aligned with future charitable registration requirements.
